Snowflake - Light Bulb - Our Thought Life

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Have you ever seen a cartoon and somebody has a light bulb over their head? It means they have an idea. Do you think Thomas Edison had a light bulb over his head when he thought of the idea of inventing the light bulb? Have you ever looked at someone and could tell by the look on their face that they just had an idea?
Everybody has ideas. Some ideas are good. Others are not.
If I should say I need some money, what can I do, some people may have different ideas. Someone might suggest I get a job. That would be a good idea. Someone else might suggest I rob a bank. That would be a bad idea.
The bible teaches us what is good and what is bad. If we think about bad things long enough, we might start doing them. That’s why the bible tells us we should think about things that are right and good and honest. We should think about things that are pleasing to God. We should desire to please God in our thoughts and our actions.
