Snowflake - Sailboat - Jesus Calms Storm

Mark 4:39

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

This snowflake has sailboats. This part down here reminds me of the waves of water. Have you ever been in a boat. I like to go on boat when the water is calm. It’s very relaxing sailing across the water. When the wind is blowing and the water is rough the boat rocks and goes up and down. When you’re in a boat in a storm it can really be scary.

The bible tells us of a time when Jesus got in a ship with His disciples. As the ship sailed, Jesus went to sleep on a pillow. A great storm arose, and the waves of water were covering the ship.

The disciples were afraid. They thought they were going to die, and Jesus was still sleeping. The disciples woke Jesus and asked Him, “Don’t you care that we perish?”

Jesus spoke to the sea saying, “Peace be still.” Immediately the wind stopped, and the sea was calm. Jesus said to His disciples, “Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?”

Jesus didn’t want His disciples to be afraid because He was with them, and He loved them.

When scary things happen in our lives we should go to Jesus. He loves us and wants to take care of us too.
