Christmas Tree Snowflake – Celebrate Jesus

I love everything about Christmas. I love the decorations, the lights, the carols, the gifts, the cookies and the Christmas trees. The most important thing to remember at Christmas is we’re celebrating the birth of Jesus.

When I look at my Christmas tree, I remember the reason we are celebrating. Some Christmas trees have stars on top. That reminds me of the wise men who followed a star to see baby Jesus. They brought Him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Some Christmas trees have angels on top. That reminds me of the angels who announced the birth of a savior to some shepherds, and they hurried to Bethlehem to see baby Jesus.

The beautiful, shiny ornaments remind me of the streets of gold and gates of pearl that are in heaven

When I see the presents under the tree I think of the greatest gift of all. God loves us so much that He sent His Son to earth as a baby to make a way for us to have a home in heaven with Him.

The lights on the tree remind me that Jesus said we should let our light shine and glorify our Father in heaven.

Remember, we are celebrating Jesus at Christmas. We can let our light shine by being grateful for all we have and sharing His love with others.
