Mouse – Suffer the Children

Matthew 19:14

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Can you see the mice in this snowflake? They are cute, aren’t they? I like some mice. I like Mickey Mouse. I had some friends who had cute little white mice as pets. I liked them.

Do you know that mice are smart? They can learn how to run in mazes and do puzzles. They can even be taught tricks.

They are athletic too. They can jump almost ten inches high. They can run 8 miles an hour, which is faster than most people. They can swim for almost half a mile without stopping. They can smell food up to two miles away.

Mice are amazing little creatures. I suppose, because they are so small, most people don’t realize how amazing they really are.

Do you ever feel that since you’re small, people don’t realize how amazing you are. Do you think sometimes grownups forget how valuable kids really are?

You are very valuable, and Jesus loves you.

We can read in the bible about a time when people brought their children to Jesus. They wanted Him to lay His hand on them and bless them. His disciples didn’t like that. They told the people not to bother Jesus.

When Jesus saw that He was displeased with His disciples. He told them to allow the children to come to Him. Jesus took the children in His arms and blessed them.

Jesus loved those children and wanted to bless them. Jesus loves you and wants to bless you no matter how old you are.
