It seemed to be a normal flight until the stewardess made the announcement that the plane was having engine trouble. “The pilot is doing his best to control the plane,” she said, “but just in case, we must prepare to jump. The pilot wanted me to ask if there is anyone aboard who believes in prayer.”

One man quickly leaped to his feet. “I believe in Prayer.”

“Do you really believe in prayer?” she asked.

“Yes.”

“You’re not just saying that?” she persisted.

“Of course not.”

“Good,” she replied. We’re short one parachute. Start praying”

Do you have faith? I mean really have faith. Do you know in your heart that you can depend on God at all times? We want to quickly answer, “Of course.”

It’s easy to have faith when all is well, but when things seem hopeless to all of those around us, do we have hope? No matter what the problem, be assured, Jesus is the answer.

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
