Sharing Our Faith
Two hillbillies were walking down the street and passed a couple of nuns. One of the nuns had her arm in a cast.
“Good afternoon sisters,” said one of the hillbillies.
“Sister, what happened to your arm?” inquired one of the hillbillies.
“I fell in the bathtub and broke it,” she said.
“Oh,” he said, “I’m sorry to hear that,” and they went their way.
As soon as they were out of hearing distance of the nuns, one of the hillbillies turned to the other and said, “What’s a bathtub?”
“How would you expect me to know that?” asked his buddy. “You know I’m not Catholic.”
How much do people around you know about your religious experience? Do they see you as someone who keeps a list of do’s and don’ts, or have you shared with them the relationship that you are enjoying with our Savior? People should recognize us as Christians by our actions, but we should not share with others the things we do, rather, the things God has done for us.
Mark 16:15 And he (Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
