Two men were on safari deep in the jungle. After a day of making their way through the bush, they settled down for the night. As the sun set, they listened to the sound of wild animals in the distance. Then they began to hear the sound of drums beating. One man turned to the other, and very nervously said, “I don’t like the sound of those drums.”

A voice came from the darkness, “He’s not our regular drummer.”

There are sounds that warn us of approaching danger. Train whistles, sirens, and horns, to name a few. Words can also warn us danger is nearing. Words like “We won’t get caught”, “You’re just chicken”, and “Everybody else does it” are just a few.

When you hear words like these, don’t be talked into doing something you know is wrong. Be aware they are warning you of oncoming danger.
