A man was skydiving for the first time. He jumped from the plane and as he was falling, began counting to ten as he was instructed. At ten, he pulled the cord, but his parachute didn’t open. He pulled the emergency cord, but it broke off in his hand. He was descending faster and faster to the ground. As he was falling, he passed another man going up. Not knowing what else to do, the falling man called out to him, “Hey mister, do you know anything about parachutes?”

The man yelled back to him, “About as much as I do about gas stoves!”

Who do you turn to? When you have a problem and nothing seems to be going right, who can you turn to? Friends may come and go. Even your parents don’t have all the answers. However, there is someone on whom you can depend. No matter what course your life seems to be taking, if you turn it over to Jesus, He will give you guidance, direction, and perfect peace. He will always be there for you.
